Looks like Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo will not be doing this anytime soon. Fox Sports is reporting that Rooney wants to break Ronaldo in half while ESPN is reporting that everything is fine and that Ronaldo and Rooney exchanged text messages after the game. Ah, text messages. Where would we be without them?

Personally, I don't think Ronaldo could have influenced the ref to give Rooney a red card. It just doesn't work that way. Rooney did kick the guy in the nuts. Intentionally or unintentionally, it did happen. Right in the nuts. Ouch. Anyways, from here on out I'm rooting for Portugoooooooool!
