Are you ready Art Brut? I saw Art Brut last night and I enjoyed the show. Very much so. Lots of good energy and good humor. Art Brut is playing the Pitchfork festival and so are the Futureheads! Keeping up with these festival additions is exhausting, but good for Pitchfork on their last few additions. I now will attend.

29 days to Coachella and fun, fun, fun, in the warm California sun.

Sources are telling them the Strokes are gonna be added to the Lollapalooza lineup. I can't believe this is happening in Chicago. Awesome Dawson for sure. I'm really excited for this, maybe because up until last year nothing this cool had happened in Chicago. Now we are the festival capital of the U.S. Three great festivals in 3 months. I think out of all the festivals that I will be attending this summer I'm most excited to see Manu Chao. I can't believe Lollapalooza got him. My jaw dropped when I saw his smiling face on the Lollapalooza website. If you've never heard him you must listen to his stuff. Highly recommended by the chef.

Two Manic Hispanic favorites will be headlining the Intonation Festival this year, June 24th and 25th. Bloc Party and Mikey Skinner aka The Streets will be gracing the stage at Union Park as the main headliners. Pitchfork, you just got served.

In other news, March 6th rolled around and "Chinese Democracry" wasn't released. What's a few more months when you've already waited 37 years? And it doesn't look like the original lineup will reunite cause Axl just sued Slash and Duff. Total party drama.
