So the Arcade Fire are popular. The show at the Riv is sold out. They will also be playing "Fashion Rocks" show in New York which will be televised on CBS. It will be interesting to see if they make the final on-air cut. Lastly, they will be opening up for U2 in Montreal. Craziness.
Since the show is sold out it made my plans for Sept. 28th alot easier. I will be cutting the rug at the Metro while gazing into M.I.A.'s eyes.
Lollapalooza was fun, fun, fun, in the sun, sun, sun. I was totally crunk on the first day and totally not crunk on the 2nd day. Extreme hangover+ extreme heat= rough time. Speaking of Extreme, Nuno Bettancourt had some finger tapping solos during Satellite Party's set. Other than that the Pixies were the best, VHS or Beta had the best mullets, and Anton Newcombe had the best jokes. If the stages were closer I think he would have kicked Chris Carraba in the face.
One of the dork twins from Good Charlotte said that their new album will have a eighties feel to it cause he's been listening to alot of Tiffany and Debbie Gibson lately. Why did the lord have to curse us and give us not one, but two of these douchebags? Why?
